WHAT IS “GO TEXAN”?
The "GO TEXAN" certification is a program established by the Texas Department of Agriculture to promote products and businesses originating in Texas. Launched in 1999, its primary goal is to encourage consumers to seek and purchase Texas-made goods, thereby supporting local industries and communities.
By supporting GO TEXAN-certified products, consumers contribute to the growth and sustainability of Texas businesses, ensuring that the rich heritage and quality of Texas-made goods continue to thrive.
MAMA GRANDE’S TEXAN HERITAGE
Mama Grande Tortilla Factory was founded in 2003 to honor our great grandma, Mama Grande, who took pride in making the best meals for our big Mexican family. Every bite was unforgettable, with flavors you just can’t find anywhere else.
In 2010, we moved to the US to explore new opportunities and share the taste of authentic, homemade tortillas. Today, we proudly call South Texas our home and supply grocery stores and restaurants, especially in the Rio Grande Valley, with our beloved tortillas.
This journey gave us the honor of officially becoming a “GO TEXAN” associate member.
